There's been weather in Darlington I think, someone caught a 'spout' in the street on camera.  Flooding in some houses due to a burst water main  :-\.  People will soon be complaining after a gentle rain, about their lawns needing cutting  ;D

DH stepped out of the house on his way to a sports event, outdoors of course - a few drops of rain followed him  ;D

Apparently a stone caught under a combine harvester yesterday, sparked and caused a blaze  :o  :-\.  Time 2 pack that emergency bag ?!?

Trains have been cancelled or are running late due to the heat.

Kaboom from here too, with first rain since forever ☔. We had about 15 mins of light rain around 5 pm, not enough to make a difference, so I decided to try and do something about it. There are three things that I know of that should normally make it rain:

1 clean the windows
2 clean your shoes
3 go for walk without umbrella.

I decided on the walk, but took a brolly anyway. It worked, though. Absolutely chucked it down. Got soaked in spite of umbrella. Rain stopped as soon as I got home but at least I tried. Still very hot but think I can get away with not doing any watering tonight  :)

Just really hot n sticky.
It's just horrible.
Roll on Sunday. I say..
Then it's back to 30 odd degrees again apparently.. :'(

Did she get her walk in the dry jd? Dogs are lovely, but a wet one doesn't smell too good!

Yes thank you Joaniepat.

Only a quick one tonight though as it did start to spit a little bit, and we thought
we'd be quick because it looked like the heavens were going to open,
But, no, it went over......lol

She won't mind though, she don't like long walks anyway, no matter what the weathers like,
Although, she did love all that snow we had before, she was so funny in it....

She's still blowing her coat, only the top coat is coming off now, she looks thin and almost Ill.
She looks much better when she's in full coat, but it must be cooler for her with no under coat..

We had a terrific thunder and lightening storm about 9pm last night with just a few minutes of rain.  That is the first rain we have had since 4 June when we had a few spots. We were hopeful there was going to be a good downpour last night but it didnt happen.

It drizzled over night.
Shrubs to the compost heap are WET  ;D
Pavement dried in the blustery wind  :-\
Blue sky again but much cooler
Can't have the windows open due to the wind  >:(
