Five weeks here without rain. Drizzle occasionally. Stayed inside all day. Now on the patio with a cardi on

Where are you jillydoll? Maybe somewhere East waiting for the front to come over?

After temps between 29 and 31 for most of the last week and full sun, since Monday and no rain (apart from one little bit of misty drizzle for about 15 mins a few weeks ago) for 6 weeks or more, and culminating in another absolute scorcher yesterday - woke today to cloud - and we had some rain!!! Including a downpour for about 5 mins!!! And thunder and lightning. Hence I've had time to come on here as most of the week I've been watering non-stop (several times a day!) as well as having visitors (including son) and BBQs all week... this morning it was a cool 22! This afternoon briefly down to 18! Normal! However sun is back out again now but the heat has gone. Plants veg and flowers all perked up

OH has just looked at the weather, and I'm afraid we've got
28/29 degrees all week!!!
Oh well, I'll just have to melt some more.....lol

It's chilly this evening with a hefty breeze. Sitting out on the patio awaiting hedgehog arrival ;-). Will need a cardy!

But absolutely lovely when I walked the dog this evening,
Sun had gone down, and the breeze was excellent,
could have stayed there all night....lol
