I am beginning to feel fed up now with the lack of sun, we all need some to feel healthy and energetic, I feel jaded and tired without it after a long winter, its not as if its been warm either and not much incentive to do things in the garden.

I have even thought of looking for a sunbed somwhere to perk me up  it does take a lot for me to feel not my cheerful self and I need some sun

We had a glorious week in March and after that gloom and cold from then on. OH keeps on saying its only May but it will be midsummers day soon

I hope you feel better soon SL.  I can't sympathise as you know because this weather is great for me but it must be difficult if you are longing for sunshine. Yes, almost the longest day... just over four weeks to go.. but quite often our summer doesn't get going until July so we can't really see that as the middle of our summer. Don't despair!

I have just read that next week summer will be arriving so not long to wait now.

Just going to Waitrose to get a pizza and salad, wine for OH and purple grape juice (or pomegranate) for me to drink, we can at least pretend we have the sun.

Football after that for OH on TV and I will probably play a BigFish game, I did intend ask OH to get my summer clothes down from the attic, but its so gloomy out I willl let him off

Sun is out now. Still windy though, but that's good for the washing.

Sunny and warm yesterday but grey and chilly today. Still, a heatwave is supposed to be on the way!

Believe that when it arrives  ........ did begin weeding earlier but lost interest, came in and put on the heating

I'm sitting here, indoors, basking in sunshine.  We have windows with some kind of gas in them that heats up when there is enough sun hitting them so it's toasty. Not so outdoors though.

That must be a nightmare if you get a sunny day in the summer though CG?

Can be.  Living room is westerly facing so gets a lot of sun.  Just wish we got as much of the sun in the winter!  One of our bedrooms faces same way, our son's old room, can make for uncomfortable sleeping.  Same bedroom is like an ice box in the winter as it has two outside walls and a massive window!
