Will look out for it CLKD as I have Indian connections and I know some members of my family will like it too.

A couple of years ago my sister got me a subscription to Woman & Home, she renewed it for me this year and I love it.  There is a nice mix in it, articles, recipes, fashion, home stuff.  Not sure I'd actually go out of my way to buy it but I enjoy reading it each month when it plops through the letter-box.

Some magazines I can't read because the editors think it will be a good idea to put white print over coloured background making it impossible for me to be bothered to read the article ……..

I read crochet magazines (I taught myself last year) - especially those with lots of patterns in (often including a kit to make at least one of the projects - I spent the weekend making a crochet parrot from one of said magazines and kits!).  I love making things but lack the time to really get stuck into major projects, so I like to have a few little things I can pick up anytime I have half an hour.

Totally bored by 'womens mags' now.

I get the BBC history mag and Who do you think you are (family history).

I actually bought the 'Oldie mag' the other day and it was really very interesting. Does that mean I am officially now OLD.

When you find yourself browsing People's Friend in the doctors and finding interesting you are on the downward slope  ;D

Guess what I was reading in the dentist on Saturday....heaven help me I'm turning into an old woman  ;D

It's 'yours' CLKD.
I sometimes buy that one or  'Good Housekeeping' and 'Essentials'.

I have read 2 magazines with similar topics recently, one is Landsearch, the other Love Life (I think).  I looked at the titles 2 hours ago and am no longer able to remember exactly …….. good magazines though.

When depressed I was unable to read books/magazines, watch TV, eat, go out of the house - my brain simply wouldn't focus on anything  :'(

Every time I enjoy a book/magazine I get a warm feeling, I can read again  :bounce:
