Mine are M and S big girl knickers and even bigger since stoma operation to stuff it into! You can buy very expensive fancy stoma briefs with pouches to stick your pouch in and fancy covers but I find big knickers easier and cheaper. And even with a fancy cover on , it is what it is - a bag of **** on your belly.
Today I am sporting a baggy black jumper, grey pinafore thing, tights and sparkly silver converse type things - oh and a huge purple stripey chemo beanie that a friend knitted- you wouldn't miss me in street xx

Actually - yes  ;D.  Reading glasses for on here or doing Nintendo whilst watching TV which is across the room so requiring the long-distance glasses.  It's a nuisance when the long-distance drop in front of the readers though  :P

Love the idea of a friend knitting you a beanie ;-).  My colours too!

It was a lady from a diabetic forum I'm on - she knit me two stripey beanies and two babysoft sleep hats - so kind and she wouldn't accept anything so I made a donation to local cancer support in her name

I think you'll need those if this cold wind is owt to go by!  I saw a cotton emboiredred Victorian night cap in an antique shop recently and was sorely tempted  :)

I would not change my varifocals now after all this time.  I just clean them in the morning, put them on and there they stay until bedtime.  Hubby prefers 3 separate pairs and never has the right ones with him when he needs them.  It is just vanity which is silly as glasses suit him.

I'm thinking of trying varifocals again.  Couldn't get on with them three years ago in the thick of peri because they triggered migraines.  Now things have calmed down I'm wondering whether to give it another go as my mid range vision is dreadful.  Readers don't quite cut it and with distance I've got no hope - it's like no man's land!!

That's a good idea sparkle.  I wouldn't be without mine.  It's worth paying a bit more for the better lens as I know some opticians offer different grades of varifocal  lens.  It's one of those things where paying more really is worth it.
