Bloating
«

Does any1 else feel giddy with bloating? I've yet to work out what causes my symptoms - no rhyme nor reason. This afternoon it happened again
with associated light headedness, not vertigo. I laid still for over an hour, now it's beginning to ease. My belly is bigger
I've been to the loo twice today

How's your tum clkd?
My bloating went after cutting out wheat but still get it when my diverticulitis flares up. GF bread is still pretty yuk but Tesco do a nice sliced Tiger loaf,ok toasted with butter on but lots of bikkys to choose from.
Are you still going to the loo often? I know you mentioned your back, two symptoms of diverticulitis, which is very common after 50 xx

Tnx for that
3 times on Sunday, 3 yesterday. once this morning. Not bloated: yet. Though I can feel the belly expanding as I type
Had a slice of DH's home made loaf rather than the bread 'from the shop'.
Low back pain probably due to not kneeling correctly: DH will be putting me on the floor later apparently to show me some suitable exercises ........
but it does nip when I move

I was also going to suggest cutting out wheat, I noticed the difference in bloating within a few days of doing that.
CLKD do you like oatcakes? The Nairns GF ones taste no difference to the normal ones and are a good snack with a topping.

Could it be the milk in the tea? I am now lactose intolerant but sometimes can have ice cream, sometimes it bloats me and sends me running to the loo! Milk, yoghurt, cream, custard etc are higher in lactose than cheese and butter.

Maybe the giddiness is to do with the vagus nerve.
I know this major nerve in our bodies has something to do with digestion.
I go dizzy too when my system is upset.
Like last night actually.
