Shared devices
« on: August 11, 2023, 05:42:12 PM »

DH and I don't share any of our mobiles, lap-tops etc..  Occasionally we will discuss information that is of mutual interest, otherwise .....

Any1 remember pen pals?  Paper, Biro, envelope and stamps.  DH never read the letters that I was sending nor did he open my correspondence.

How many of you share a device ?

I loved pen paling and that is actually how I met my partner. We were pen pals before we met. :)

Me and husband share both the ipad and mobile!

Nothing to hide but we don't make a habit of reading each others correspondence simply because we have our own lives and interests and will share any relevant news etc.

To be honest neither of us are clued up on techy stuff and it isn't a priority.

One thing he would never do is to through my bag! Doesn't bother me but that would feel disrespectful for him. Likewise I never go through his pockets.
Except to remove tissues prior to laundry😂

Flossie! That's so lovely!

If DH began opening my incoming post that would be divorce  >:(.  Not that either has anything to hide but no one knows everything about another person and there has to be some mystery left  ;D

We sometimes share devices, like phones depending on circumstances, but would never read each others stuff, although there was one time where I had his phone and was messaging him as him.
He refuses to go through my handbag, but has on occasion when I've told him it's OK, although seems uncomfortable with it. It really wouldn't bother me as there's nothing to hide.

My handbag is also sacred  ;).  At our age it simply wasn't done to go through some1 else's bags.

DH and I look at such different subject topics that if we were to wait for 1 laptop, nowt would get read or followed up  ::)
