Perimenopause at 38
« on: August 24, 2022, 09:56:43 AM »

Hi,

I’m new to the forum and thought I’d introduce myself.

I’m 38 and have started perimenopause. Currently trying to figure out what combination of HRT works for me and it feels like a never ending battle.

I have two small children and didn’t like oestogel and worried about any residue on my hands / transferring to the kids. I also hated how long it took to dry.

I also tried Estradot patches which I really struggled to get to stick properly and I’m struggling to get hold of them (even through a private prescription). I also feel tired and achy whilst using the patches.

I have been using Androfeme for about 2-3 months and am about to start Lenzetto to see if that works for me.

Has anyone else had any experience with Androfeme and Lenzetto as a combination? Curious to see how people have got in with it.

Thank you  :)

Hello Peri38. Welcome to the forum. I too was 38 when I started perimenopause. Just to say, I find patches will only stick on me if I use Tegaderm dressings. These can be bought on Amazon. I also find my lower back is the best place for sticking. I do not have experience with the HRT you are using but wanted to welcome you.  :)
