Hi CrispyChick,
I'm loving it! I have no negative symptoms at all and feel human again.
Still waiting on a gynae appt to see if they can prescribe it for me, I can ring them on 6th June if I haven't heard anything by then.
I've just started some slight spotting again, only after exercise, but I'm assuming that's more to do with having the Mirena removed recently than the Slynd.

When I first started on evorel sequi (so evorel 50 for 2 weeks) I got nauseous as soon as I put the patch on and sometimes dizzy. This didn't last too long, only on the patch change over day. After a few weeks it eased so I'm guessing it was getting used to it.
hi,thanks for reply, yes thats how i feel it has eased off as time went on,all being well i hope i have some benefit from them x dasie

I am aware of other women for whom mood changes have been a troublesome symptom and it is so frustrating that HRT can't resolve everything.
If they allowed a other combined approaches, eg. Oestrogen for physical symptoms alongside tibolone for mental symptoms, it would help so many more people. Tibolone also acts physically as a progesterone, so perhaps in the future they will allow it to be used as a progesterone in the UK, it has the opposite effect on my mood to progesterone, I feel stronger and more alive on tibolone.

If that could be tweaked, to be turned into a progesterone the rest of us could tolerate, then perhaps everyone could have the benefits of mental clarity and physical relief.

A girl can dream.

All Citizens over the age of 18 in the UK have a 'say' if they go to the Polls.  It's the Prime Minister that is chosen by the elected Government.
I'll take your comment at face value and assume that you don't know anything about UK politics and don't mean to be so rude when I've already mentioned the fact this isn't the case. It's a lot to assume, but have the benefit of the doubt.
Ask questions if you like, educate yourself, maybe in PM if you need to, but here is ok. Either way I'd urge you to learn more than that statement indicates if you intend to use your privilege, something you seem barely aware of!

Could U take a cancellation appt. if someone doesn't turn up or no longer requires their slot?
Yes, I have no problem at all with accepting a cancellation. I explained the process for cancellations because it would be nice to get one :)

Hello all.  I’m 55 and had both ovaries and Fallopian tubes removed four years ago due to a huge dermoid cyst.  Started on continuous combined HRT pills then switched to Utrogestan and Estragel (4 pumps daily).  Since menopause I’ve had some intermittent spotting and cramping.  I had a hysteroscopy about 18 months ago which showed my uterine lining to be very thin but otherwise fine.  After a few more episodes recently I had another referral to gynaecology for a transvaginal ultrasound.  Other than a small amount of blood pooled at the top of my cervix the consultant thought all was well and suggested I ask my GP for estrogen pessaries or cream if I thought I needed it.  I felt reassured.  This week I had a bit of brown spotting and cramps which have got stronger.  Just went to the loo and was shocked to see I’d flooded - the toilet was crimson to an extent I can barely remember during my periods.  Since the ultrasound looked ok do I just leave it?  No idea what’s happening but it was somewhat alarming.  Anyone else had this? Up until now it’s been faint spotting but this was a gush… Any advice very gratefully accepted!

Went to see the new film IF. Heartwarming and feel-good without being mushy. Loved it. Had a small cry.
