Hormones upheaval.  My periods waxed and waned, missing months; then a normal bleed for several months.

What is the flow like?

So have a dry biscuit or a piece of dry toast ........ and don't drink anything too quickly.  I take my 'omeprazolol' with breakfast to layer the gut.  Also add 'milk of magnesium' liquid when its' really bad.

It would probably be worth contacting ACAS and / or a your union if you are in one?

Is your actual role being made redundant, in that they are not replacing you with another person?

Im sure your employer has to take note of what OH are reporting back to them? Could they make adjustments to your existing role,  or is there another less demanding rule which may be available within the company that you could do?

What is it that makes your job more challenging right now?

Hopefully someone with more employment law will be along to advise; CAB can also be very good with employment issues.

Don’t give up without a fight I say!

Hi, I am currently going through a redundancy process and I said at the outset that it would be used as an opportunity to get rid of me due to ongoing issues with the menopause and lo and behold, it looks like I’ll be given the chop. I’ve worked for the company for 7 years, had a faultless sick record up until 9 months ago and was well thought of. The last 9 months have been pretty hellish with a couple  of periods of sick. My occy health report said this was likely to be an ongoing issue and I would likely need support. General brain fog, anxiety, exhaustion etc etc. I’m in a middle management job and just lost all my confidence. Work know I’m struggling and now I have been put at risk. My job is basically the same but they’ve given it a new title and a very small salary increase but the JD is more or less the same. The thought of having a battle  on my hands is really worrying as I don’t feel up to it. Just wondering if anyone else has been/is in a similar position? I’m 52 and not ready to give up work yet. I’ll struggle to  get  another job with how I’m feeling and my sick record. Just feel a bit out of control and helpless and shat on.
