Pompeii is amazing to see Jill. A proper working city is evident in the remains - baths, bakeries, even a brothel - shockaroony (complete with paintings of wee Willie winkies on the walls inside  )

Having a lazy day with my kindle, coffee and carrot cake 😋

We stayed in Sorrento and got the train to Pompeii.   Train was really convenient and cheap.  We went to Capri too but wasn’t  really impressed.

We have spent a couple of afternoons watching MotoGP racing from Jerez followed by mans' gymnastic on 📺
Chores in between.  Have had to put the heating on as well as fire lit in the evenings 

It was so wet that I fed the wild birds from the bathroom window as a wren was searching for meal worms .

Cleaned up my kitchen and threw loads of clutter out.
Looks bigger now.

Played with neighbours' cat who gets bored when they are out working: she has a marble to knock round the kitchen

Swap the marble for a ping pong ball CLKD, cats have been known to swallow marbles

Enjoying our weekend away,thunderstorms for most of yesterday afternoon but I love listening to them and the rain hitting the RV

After breakfast we walked for the papers
Cuppa by the pond in warm ☀️
Tidied up pots of Herb Sorrel and Herb lemon balm - both spread freely 
Fed birds and pond fish

Began taking off camellia flowers, damaged in the rain 
Pizza to hand

We took the cockapoo to a beach park a few miles away. A wee bit overcast but he had a lovely time chasing his ball. Then he had a puppacino! Cream all over his face 
People were walking passed laughing their heads off at the state of him

Our camellias didn't last long this year with the rain. Hoping to visit my new granddaughter this weekend. She was very premature and spent 4 weeks in hospital and may well have an ongoing blood problem. She almost didn't make it. She's home now anyway and weighs around three and a half pounds. She's a little miracle.
