I have an old peoples' pick up thingy for the stuff that ends up in the wrong bin  ;D.  OK as long as I remember to get a grip  :o
I could have done with one of those when I recently threw my purse in a commercial bin  ;D

As many of you regulars are aware I am into men in Lycra or motorcycling leathers  ;D - watching MotoGP there's a new Sponsor: M T Helmets : for weeks I've been hearing 'empty helmets'  :o  and kept telling DH that I wouldn't work for a Company called that  :-\

Hi Micky,

It does seem to be a symptom of meno, and i was like you when these things started to happen, i did get a bit worried about it, and kept thinking `im losing my mind, whats going on`, but when i joined this site and saw a lot of posts on this subject, i realized it wasnt just me, and i started to relax a bit.

I will give you an example of one of my `moments`.... I had mum and dad down for dinner and i did the whole works, when i dished everything out we all sat down to eat, we were chatting but my dad was a bit quiet (which isnt like him) i asked if he was alright and he said `yes, but i was just wondering why you havent given me any sprouts roast potatoes or any chicken` i just couldnt believe i had done that and i was a bit upset at the time, but we all had a laugh about it later on.  ;D Tilly. x

It's understandable to feel worried  especially during perimenopause or menopause, as hormonal changes can affect cognitive function.

I couldn’t understand why the coffee pot was almost empty this morning when I’d only recently made a fresh pot.

It turns out I’d only half filled the percolator with water before switching it on. Used the usual amount of coffee.

Poor OH unknowingly drunk a very large cup of double strength coffee with his breakfast and is now feeling very strange…🤦‍♀️

I have. When I noticed the pot was almost empty I phoned him to ask if there was something wrong with the coffee or the machine. That’s when the penny dropped.
