Three depts were involved today. We started in ophthalmology where eye scans and other eye tests were done - all OK. They then passed us to rheumatology who said that the condition was being queried but that steroids would "stabilise" things until biopsy is done by maxillofacial dept (in maximum 2 wks time
) - time still to be confirmed.
The danger is present if steroids are not given as a precaution.
