I was very young at the time. We were on hols and Mum wanted to see a show so I didn't have much choice.

And yes, a jumper and a rocking chair are the things I vaguely remember.

He was the support act for Val Doonican   :lol:

My Mum took me to the station to watch the last Puffa train enter and leave - I remember nowt other than thick smelly smoke which was probably steam!

He had an album called Songs from the Rocking Chair or a similar title. I found it in my dad's collection  ;D
