How did U get on?

An Estate Agent can certainly check that a potential buyer has a mortgage agreed - the important issue is, that once a price has been agreed upon - that the Agent continues to show people round in case the buyer pulls out for any reason.  Otherwise weeks/months can be lost !

If anyone comes across this thread months later, please don’t beat yourself up for how hard it is to handle selling a house during this stage of life. It’s completely normal. I went through almost the exact same thing with sick parents and major life changes, and I learned that delegating is the only real solution. I ended up working with Ernest-Brooks International for the valuation and sale. They were transparent, professional, and most importantly empathetic. They treated me like a person, not just another file.
