Thrush
« on: January 11, 2026, 08:53:37 PM »

I have been diagnosed with thrush and been prescribed canesten pessaries for three days (last Monday) (god knows how I got this!) so dr says not to use the topical HRT for a week (Imvaggis) for a week so I am SORE!!! There are still bits of the canesten pessaries coming down (says this is normal) My question is should I start using the Imvaggis I am tearing my hair out!!  I’ve had quite a few problems over the last two or three months so quite a few appointments , so I don’t really want to go back to the doctor and ask her if this is okay.  The only other alternative is to smother myself with yes moisturiser has anyone else had this problem.  Your responses would be very much appreciated thank you.

How often R U using the Thrush treatment, assuming it's been diagnosed correctly?

I would use VA treatment in the morning .......... it may be the replacement causing the thrush  :-\ sometimes there isn't a clear reason.

Do U eat LIVE yoghurt?

Hi thank you for responding it was three nights of pessaries which ended last Wednesday.  Yes I do eat live yoghurt (when I remember).  I am unsure whether it was the right diagnosis too.  I think that maybe use the Yes moisturiser for tonight and through tomorrow and then tomorrow night back to the Imvaggis. I have to admit, I’m so fed up with it all.
