Irritation with Vagirux?
« on: January 11, 2026, 05:12:56 PM »

I've been using Vagirux for nearly 2 months now for VA.  My most troublesome symptom is having to pee constantly,  and I'm up multiple times each night.
My bladder always feels twitchy but it seems to get worse when I use the Vagirux. I don't know if its the product or the application process.
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks.

I could never tolerate vagirux,my pharmacist changed me from vagifem to vagirux off her own back and the very next day I was getting irritation, they only use vagirux because it is cheaper, they will tell you it’s exactly the same as vagifem but the number of times I’ve seen on here ,women not tolerating vagirux is countless, could you ask for vagifem? I had to get my Dr to specifically prescribe it,so the pharmacist didn’t give me the other

I’m having this exact issue but with estriol cream. When I apply it that night I’m up peeing a few times in the night, it seems to settle a little the next day.

MayB Madge79 insert in the morning?

Vagirux is the cheaper end of VA treatment.  Supposedly the same, however some may be sensitive to the filler or packaging rather than the active ingredient.  It can B Trial and Error!
