There's a tree in your neighbourhood that's older than your worries.
There's a star above that hasn't missed a single night.
You're surrounded by things that know how to stay.
Trees know when other trees are sick and send them nutrients underground. This world is secretly so soft.
Our world didn't have to smell like rain, or make strawberries sweet, or fill forests with birds that literally sing. But it did. And you're here to witness it.
A girl petting a dog whispered, "You're my best friend and you don't even know it." The dog definitely knew.
This planet grows lavender fields, pine forests and cinnamon. What a place.
A seed underground sends out a shoot towards the light. No one had to teach it about the light.
A boy just waved at a plane overhead. The woman next to him asked who he was waving at. He said "just in case someone up there is looking down." She waved too.
The same water that's in your body has been in rivers, clouds and glaciers. You're part rainstorm. Part mountain. Part ocean wave. No wonder you feel everything.
The news is loud. But so is the laugher in kitchens. The hugs in driveways. The toddlers yelling "LOOK!" at flowers. That's the world too. Don't forget.
