Burning stomach.
« on: December 15, 2025, 11:38:44 AM »

For the last month, I've been having issues with a burning feeling in my stomach and throughout my body. The doctor has given me lansoprazole, but I'm still having issues. This has coincided with hot flushes returning, as well as other symptoms i used to have. I have been on HRT (Everol conti 50) for a year. Do you think I might need to increase my dose?
Has anybody else had digestive issues improve after upping their HRT?

The medication is to reduce acid production in your stomach. Acid wouldn't cause burning throughout your body, or do you mean throughout your digestive system?

Yes, through my whole digestive system. Mainly in my stomach, but also my back.

Is it like trapped grass radiating through to your back? You can get pain in your back from gastritis, ulcer and such, also gallstones. But you don't get pain in your lower abdomen too.
