Thrush / VA / Vulvodynia
« on: Today at 12:17:04 PM »

Hi Ladies,

I have been suffering with burning soreness and discharge for the last couple of months.  I have been given a diagnosis of Candida Galbrata to be treated with Nystatin. I also am using Vagifem and have stopped for a while because of the thrush and I have just used one tablet to see if it helps at all with symptoms. Trying to understand what is going on. New to this forum, and have specialist at the end of the week.  As anyone else been in my shoes ? comments very welcome.

Hi Jackie, welcome to the forum. I would suggest you post this in the "all things menopause" page, you will get more of a response there. Also the search box can be very helpful while you wait.

Hi Jackie
When you have posted 10 relevant posts you will be able to click on another members name and read their posts.
A member called Midnight Shadow has posted about dealing with Candida Glabrata which you may find useful.
