Hello Everyone.

I have a history of endometriosis and had one ovary removed due to it.
Two years ago I started having a burning sensation down there.  GPs thought it was yeast.  Gave me lots of yeast treatment.
Symptoms persisted - Was given vaginal Estrogen and topical, but my hair started falling out – too much estrogen?
Symptoms persisted and I was given a blood test by a private GP that specialises in menopause and the estrogen and testosterone was high.
I also have urinary issues where I need to go like every 5 minutes.

I have been so sick on and off.  I have this thing where my heart rate goes over 120 in the mornings and I then feel nauseas and vomit.
This was going on for about two months, until I could not even get out of bed.
The paramedics came to my house and then measured my blood sugar, which was at 3.8. When I eat my blood sugar then shoots up to above 8 (I do not eat any sugary foods).

My question is when going through menopause/ perimenopause;
it is normal for one to get very sick to the point where you cannot get out of bed
Could hormone imbalances influence your blood sugar? Even if you blood tests come back normal.
At times it seems that my urinary issues are linked to after I have eaten – and I feel thirsty all the time.
What can this be?  Does anybody have this?
At times I also have severe back pain especially if I cannot go to the loo straight away. Is this normal?
I also have severe burning down there on the skin.  I am not sure what is causing my skin to be so irritated.  It burns so bad and the skin looks raw.  I took an antihistamine - which seem to be have worked (It is not detergent as I avoid this now - my underwear is washed with hot water and then dried).
I feel that my life is upside down and have been to so many doctors.  I don’t know what to do anymore.  I so scared losing my hair – it is so thin now. I am worried it will cost my professional career. Some days I just wished it was over.

Thank you in advance.

Here’s something short, human and messy that fits the thread tone without giving medical advice or anything unsafe:

It sounds rough and honestly nobody should be trying to guess this stuff on their own. The mix of hormone shifts, blood sugar swings and the skin things you describe can hit hard, but it still feels like something a specialist needs to piece together properly. A GP who listens and actually looks at the whole picture might help you get some steadiness again. No one should be stuck feeling this sick for months.

You need specialist advice, your symptoms are too severe and complex to give constructive advice.
There is another lady here who is also suffering badly, perhaps reading her posts might be of some help to you going forwards. https://www.menopausematters.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,73699.0.html

Blackfrog777, I agree you need to seek help from a specialist but please read Crispychick's threads on here.

It is possible for some women to feel very ill with the menopause and feel unable to get out of bed.

The problem I've found - is there is no specialist to help me / willing to help me. Because noone will take ownership of my symptoms.

Now paying through the nose for private appointments - but I'm leading who to pick - an ME/MCAS specialist and a hormone specialist. When it may be neither.

There is no overarching view.

I'm sorry I can't offer more advice Blackfrog. I too wish it all over some days.  :( and I have lost my career.  :(

I have no idea what to suggest, if CrispyChick can't find the answer I'm afraid its all the more worrying. I can only suggest following her journey and hope you both find the answers you are looking for.
