Has anyone come across DESQUAMATIVE INFLAMMATORY VAGINITIS ?

Has anyone come across this?
I am still struggling with a dark yellow sticky discharge. My GP took a swab but it came back negative. The discharge continues, some days really quite heavy. I’m also sore at times which seems to be made worse by Vagifem and Estriol cream.
I’m 73 so we’ll past peri menopause which I’ve seen mentioned in on line literature for this condition. 
Anybody on here got any experience of this condition please?
