When there is too much fungal overgrowth in the body it comes from the inside out, seeps into armpits, anus (as jock itch), vagina (as thrush), eyelids (as fungal blepharitis), mouth (oral thrush), etc. so not necessarily causing a rash like an acute infection limited to one place.
If the creams stop the itching for a little while then it’s a clue and then you need to treat it as a systemic infection with oral antifungals. Caprylic acid is a good one.
If just armpits and the cream did nothing then could be a bacteria infection, so could try savlon to test it.
