I’m never thirsty which is odd because my mum says as a child I never stopped drinking - so much so that they worried I might be diabetic (I wasn’t) but now I just don’t think of drinking. I gave a cup of red bush tea on waking, another at lunch time and a small glass of water at dinner time - anything else I really have to work hard to remember - I know how important it is - I even bought a flask with hourly markers on it but I just forget! Too busy to think and when you don’t feel thirsty you don’t have a reminder.  Could explain all my itching though - not just the armpits but scalp and bottom too!

When there is too much fungal overgrowth in the body it comes from the inside out, seeps into armpits, anus (as jock itch), vagina (as thrush), eyelids (as fungal blepharitis), mouth (oral thrush), etc. so not necessarily causing a rash like an acute infection limited to one place.

If the creams stop the itching for a little while then it’s a clue and then you need to treat it as a systemic infection with oral antifungals. Caprylic acid is a good one.

If just armpits and the cream did nothing then could be a bacteria infection, so could try savlon to test it.

Sorry, I forgot to say I am actually on a long course of oral fluconazole plus nystatin pessaries for Candida krusei.  Hopefully it’s not a yeast thing as I’ve been taking stuff.  I’ll try savlon. Thank you.

If it’s since the anti fungals, it could be the yeast exiting the body so could be a good sign!

What about trying camomile lotion? I think that's the name, what you use to calm down the itching from chicken pox.
