Hi dangermouse

Good to hear the DiM is working for you. Which one do you use? Where do you get it, online?

Thank you x

It's the Nutri Advanced 100mg. I just got a new pack direct from their UK website, the original one I bought on Amazon but it's not on there now.

Good morning anyone reading this. I realise it’s a very old post but I was googling my symptoms and this came up.

Just wondering if anyone had any advice re adrenaline surges in perimenopause? Currently using 75mg Evorel patches with progesterone tablets every month.

Wake up with awful adrenaline and jittery stomach in the mornings. Can’t seem to stay asleep without periods of waking in the night for hours on end with racing thoughts. Often wake up in the first hour with a feeling of choking, gulping, gasping for air which I’ve done sporadically from my early 20’s but so much more frequently now. Feeling pretty rubbish, irritable and down.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am getting these but mine are after 6pm. I’ve just come off HRT because it really wasn’t working for me. The two things that help are exercise and CBD oil. Don’t know if it helps but remembering you’re not alone in this helps me a bit 💜

Very common symptoms MileyCyprus, adrenaline is usually worse in the mornings, with surges waking us, I’m not on hrt and never have been but mine did eventually pass and like Malteser says, knowing that we’re not alone can help, it did me, I had know idea what was happening to me until I came on this forum. I find that counting slowly down from 100 helps when I wake with anxiety but there are many relaxation things you can try, have a look on YouTube. Oh and CBD oil helped me a bit too x

It’s one of the oestrogen volatility symptoms that gets better over the years and is one that comes under the ‘getting through the other side’.

I am post meno with still a strong cycle (that can be read via symptoms) and I take one DIM on Day 11 which then clears oestrogen a few days later to keep the most volatile days 13-17 much calmer!

It has brought the early morning adrenaline surges down to a mild tingle.
