New to hrt

Hi been on ultrogesten 1-25 days then 3 day break and 2 pumps oestrogen gel and take cerazette mini pill( been on mini pill for years )been on it for 6 weeks eased most of symptoms anxiety hot flushes mood etc but having irregular bleeding was wondering if this will settle I have only had 1 (3 day break) from ultogesten up to now as not long been on it never had a bleed on 3 day break then bled few weeks later.

Why not just take 2 x cerazette (150mcg) daily and ditch the micronised progesterone.

This is unlicensed but supported by the BMS for endometrial protection based on available evidence.

This will provide suppression of endogenous ovarian function and probably have you completely bleed free after a few weeks.

I agree, you obviously tolerate Cerazette well so personally, I wouldn't touch Utrogestan with a bargepole.

I know some women get on with Utrogestan but from what I've seen on here, most don't.  I wish medics would stop being so wedded to it just because it's supposedly natural because most of the time it's more trouble than it's worth and there are far better progesterone options out there.
