Hi Starfish, hope all goes well for you tomorrow. I had mine under GA on the advice of the ladies on here and was so glad I did. It didn't take long to recover, the first 24 hours or so were a bit uncomfortable but after that ok. Hopefully you'll be fine for your Monday shifts.
Let us know how it goes

Everything went well. They removed two polyps, sent away for testing. The dr thinks they look ok, shouldn’t be anything to worry about. I didn’t know they could tell by looking at them. Still feeling a little groggy and crampy.

Glad i went with GA. One minute I was surrounded by people with my legs placed into stirrups, and the next i was awake an hour and 30 minutes later dazed and shivery. It’s a strange feeling.

I'm glad everything seems okay and it's done. I definitely would have GA if I'd to have it done again.

Thanks everyone. I have the surgery tomorrow morning. I will be having GA. I thought I would have to wait 4-6 weeks, not two. For anyone who had this, how long did it take to recover. I’m in a pretty busy job on my feet most of the time. Monday is my long day. In all morning, then evening again.

I had hysteroscopy on Wednesday under GA.  Felt well enough the day after to go for a walk but not feeling so good today so resting up. Biopsy taken but said to be looking ok.

Just wanted to say that i'm not sure that i could face a busy day on Monday but i am 70.
