Razor burn
« on: August 18, 2025, 06:59:40 PM »

I know in the scheme of things this is petty but oh my goodness are my armpits a mess! I think I was lax in changing my razor blade (I wet shave legs & pits) & yesterday post shave of just my pits the night before they were a bit pink. Today they are dark pink, almost crimson really. The rash is now pimply & so sore. Obviously I can't use any deodorant & I have used some aloe Vera from my house plant but I've never seen anything like it.
Anyone got any ideas what I should use? The pharmacist looked & said use moisturiser! My husband gasped when he saw it, it looks like I've sandpapered my armpits.
It's sore, burning & really itchy.

I did something similar a few years ago. I'd stupidly left a razor on the shower shelf for a while and didn't notice until after I'd used it that it was a bit rusty.

The results weren't nice but canesten hydrocortisone cleared it up in a few days.

One of the potential side effects of intrarosa is swollen lymph nodes.

Some lymph nodes are found in the armpit. Could shaving have disturbed ?

I'll get some hydrocortisone,  SundayGirl, thank you.
Minusminnie, how would I know & would the remedy for it be different if it's lymph nodes?

Sorry no idea.
I just looked up possible side effects of Intrarosa as I wondered if you were aware.
