Yaay!! Just ordered 3 months Intrarosa to try. I was asked by the online GP, once they'd reviewed my form which contains my current HRT meds, why I wanted it. So I explained my GP told me it wasn't licensed in the UK & that after hearing good things about it I'd like to try it.
So hurrah!! Should be here tomorrow. I'll keep you posted as to how I get on.

So I've got the Intrarosa in my hands now!! But I just had a thought - am I correct in stopping my testogel now I'm going to use that? My results recently meant I'm splitting a sachet into 20 doses so obviously high levels. It's just that I was having a quick read on some articles by Loiuse Newsom & she said in studies of Intrarosa women benefitted from using HRT, testosterone & Intrarosa. Obviously I can't check with my GP.

I don't think intrarosa has any meaningful systemic absorption so it isn't generally used as a substitute for testosterone. (Just like vaginal vs systemic estrogen).
I take sublingual DHEA which is systemic and converts to testosterone.
However in your position I would continue the systemic testosterone gel assuming you feel you are benefiting from it, there's no need to choose between this and intrarosa.

That's the thing, I'm no longer getting any benefit from it, as far as I can tell. Initially my libido went through the roof & now it's almost no existent & due to high results at last blood test it so difficult to split a sachet into 20 doses accurately. I've been very fuzzy headed for about 2 weeks which I don't know if it's caused by high levels or not. But thank you.
