I’ve just been told that’s there are supply issues with Estradot 75s.

I’m really feeling quite stable on them and I’m posting this basically as an SOS to see if anyone knows where there might be supplies. I’m in Fife Scotland.

Bit of a shot in the dark I guess.

I don’t get on either Evorel and I’m not going back to gel. Honestly how are woman supposed to manage?

So I’m just going to reply to myself to advise others that may find themselves in a similar position. There are literally no supplies locally or across the majority of the central belt of Scotland.

So.

I had to seek a private online source as a matter of urgency. My usual go to suppliers were also out so I stumbled across a company called Nowpatient. Honestly I can’t fault the service. From my initial contact to my patches being in my hands was 24 hours. Yes I had to pay but I simply refuse to switch to Evorel or back to gel. I purchased 3 months of patches - with my hubbies blessing!!! - to hopefully tide me over seeing as I cannot obtain any firm advice about Estradot supplies.

It’s really not good enough to not have access to a consistent reliable medication that I feel stable on.

However hopefully the above can help any other ladies that find themselves in a bind.

I pay for mine privately via a meno specialist and have always managed to get them even at the height of shortages, but it's always good to have an alternative so thank you for that, I'll make a note of the company.

It really is a nightmare these shortages.  I have been changed onto 4 different types of HRT since July and I am so relieved that at the moment I am back on estradot and just pray they continue to be available and I am so very sorry to hear of your experience at present.  Thank you so much for posting about the Nowpatient really useful info.  I managed to get my last lot of patches via the NHS but have had to buy them too in the past.  They really are the only thing that suit me - Sandoz ones did not work for a bit when they first came out after Novartis but they seem to have sorted the issues now and they stick fine too.
