GraceM, it worked! Using the old patch to rub off the glue it's left behind. (feels like it's the least it can do!)

Delighted it worked for you too  :)  I got the tip from another menopause group a few years ago, so can't take the credit  ;D

Some great suggestions there. I did try using the old patch today and it did work! I'm going to give the other things a go too. This has been so helpful, thanks everyone, and Aubrey for asking the question.

There is a product just for this called Nudi spray, works perfectly!

Finally got around to trying the old patch this evening. At first it did nothing and then all of a sudden it worked! I'm delighted 😃
