YES products
« on: July 10, 2025, 07:18:18 PM »

Hi, I’d really like to know which YES product you find helps the most with vulval stinging &
Soreness.  One minute I think the Yes VM is good, then I try the YES WB and that seems better but they don’t seem to last long. I’ve also got YES OB which should be better as it’s oil based but wasn’t sure when I tried it and I’m using Ovestin cream too so not keen on oil based moisturisers as they create a barrier but if it’s the best I’ll use it.

I don’t think I try anything for long enough to tell  but I’m scared to try new things in case they makes things worse!  I’ve tried vulval balm (very expensive and made no difference - and same with olive &’Bee).  I’m just so sore that I feel I need something but nothing seems to soothe it at all.  I was given hydromol by gynae but it’s too thick to rub in without pulling the skin.  Thanks everyone !

I've tried Yes products and find that only their foam intimate wash is of any use for me.
When necessary i use Epaderm or Aproderm on the outer vulva.  The latter gives more of a barrier but i use anything like this after a shower in the morning.
Estriol 0.1% ( formerly Ovestin) i am using before bed so at separate times.

Stick with the estriol and maybe give whatever else you are using a reasonable time trial as swapping rapidly between products will not be helping you either practically or mentally.

Its such a personal choice but I love the YES OB and use it every day as a moisturiser - I find it helps a lot with any soreness x

Thank you Pippa52 and Minusminnie.  Yes, you’re right - I should stick with one for a while.  I use hydromol or epaderm cream in the shower but find the ointment (that gynae suggested) too thick to use on delicate skin.

I might give the YES OB another fair go in the mornings as I do think it’ll stay on longer and estriol cream at night.

Thank you for your input 😁

I used Yes VM which works for me. I used Yes OB as a lubricant though

Hi Jules.  I’ve tried YES WB, YES VM and YES OB.  I wish I could decide which one works best for me.  I don’t think the WB one stays on long enough.

I’ve tried VM thought it was helping but then wasn’t sure so I’m giving OB a try for a bit - I’m interested that you use both.  I don’t need anything inside - it’s just the labia that’s so sore.  How often do you use the products? I’ve just put some more OB on as I was feeling sore after a relatively good morning but now it feels worse - I do find that after the initial irritation it settles down nicely so I suppose that means it’s ok, I just wish there was something that you could put on that would ease the soreness instantly … hoping for too much too soon I guess!
