Hi, i've been on HRT for 18 months. Before i went on it, i felt about 90! Was so stiff and achey getting out of bed or up from sitting and at 57 it just seemed wrong to be that stiff. Within 2 weeks of starting HRT it all went away and i was back to my usual self. However 12 months into HRT i started to get bone pain in my right shin which wakes me at night and now I feel the pain sometimes when walking. It can be really painful at times (usually night time) and at others not so bad. Occassionaly it moves from where it is into my knee or behind the bone or slight further down my shin but mostly its in the same spot. Bloods and xrays have come back normal so GP doesn't think its anything serious to worry about but is also doing and MRI soon and probably a doppler scan (i do have varicose veins). Just reaching out to see if anyone else has had this. Seems such a strange thing to have especially as it is only in one leg in one spot, but I am starting to think it may be HRT related and if all tests prove normal, i'm thinking of stopping the HRT to see what happens next.
