Help for constant sleep issues
« on: June 04, 2025, 07:33:50 AM »

After stopping taking HRT in November, I have continued to experience sleep issues which impacts my life and health.

I had unpleasant side effects after taking clonidine - dehydration, hot sweats and nausea so stopped taking them straight away.

I decided to start taking 1/4 tsp of organic Ashwaghanda for 2 weeks ago but have been waking with a headache - although it has helped me to sleep better because it seems to have subdued the palpitations - so if I wake up, I soon get back to sleep.

I didn’t take it last night and the palpitations were stronger so reduced sleep - I had a little headache and feel tired upon waking so wondering whether I should go back to the GP and maybe try sleeping tablets.  However I am worried that there will be side effects.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thank you

Visit a Pharmacist?  MayB an anti-nausea drug or anti-histamine will help.  Non-drowsy [the latter] helped me break the cycle, 3 nights and I was OK again.
