I just wanted to add that whilst no longer first line, provera is still an option for endometrial protection, and because it is very potent compared to progesterone some specialists will permit longer cycles and/or a shorter course of progestin for those struggling with the progestogenic component.

This would usually be done with periodic scans to check the endometrium.

That's great thanks, I'm taking note of different names and will have a look through info and talk things over with GP and see where I get with things. Really apprecaite all the info you've passed on and knowing there may be other options  :)
