I would see what your oestrogen levels are first, you're lucky they're testing it, my gp won't. If they're low tackle the gp again, there's no reason they can't prescribe 4 pumps themselves. But do see if utrogeston is the problem. I have waited 2.5 years for a meno clinic appointment though I think most are 12-18 months.

OK my blood test results are in. I would appreciate any feedback.

Serum Oestradiol levels 1118 pmol/L

Serum Testosterone 0.39 nmol/L

Serum free T4 15.5 pmol/L

Serum TSH 1.99 miu/L

I also had a whole list of other blood tests for Iron to Vit D to full blood counts. They have all come back satisfactory.

So, I'm at a complete loss as to why I still suffer from insomnia and periods of crushing fatigue.

Any ideas??

Don't rely on GP's telling you that bloods are satisfactory. They may be in range, just, but they'll be marked as ok and not flagged. Please make sure you always get a copy of your results.

Assuming usual NHS ranges, try to aim for

Vitamin D - 100
B12 - 500+
Folate - towards top of range
Ferritin - 100

Low levels of any of these can lead to fatigue.
