Hello all. I had Hysteroscopy and biopsy in Dec and told all clear except for a couple of tiny fibroids. This was for post menopausal spotting. Signed off from gynae and told to go back to GP with any further bleeding. I’ve bled a couple of times since, so GP has now prescribed Vagifem in case the bleeding is due to my prolapses or possible vaginal atrophy. I am to use the Vagifem in addition to my evorel conte patch (which I’ve been on two years). I started the Vagifem 2 weeks ago and today I have period cramps and am bleeding again! Does this count as the ‘normal’ breakthrough bleeding that can happen when HRT is first started? (Bit confused about that one as technically my HRT started two years ago) or should I be going back to the GP/ stopping HRT? Thanks in advance ladies.
