Hi can anybody help am I'm completely confused with all this perimenopause!
Im 52 years old and started having pretty bad perimenopause symptoms. Periods became irregular so gp put me on everol sequi. Helped slightly but not enough. I contacted a world leader on menopause who claims I am best going on a low dose mini pill eg slyde to switch off ovaries. My gp won't prescribe to above 50 so I ordered privately. However gp has told me this will not give me enough endometrial protection with my 2 x pumps of oestrogel and has prescribed utrogestan 2 weeks of cycle. However menopause society states new guidelines that drospirenone is enough if taken continuously without a break. Does anybody know? TIA
