Thank you ladies for all the info and advice 

Just wanted to update you......I brought Gina myself ( months supply ) so I can start using every day ..... also using estrial cream internally and externally. Still not spoken to doctor yet but nurse called me and I explained . She said Vagifem not licensed for daily use so very unlikely doctor will allow that for me but she is consulting Gynae and then will report back. She asked why I wouldn't consider going back on Everol rather than daily vagifem ...... explained that I didn't want the bloating and weight gain.

So a bit more waiting.

If the doctor refuses I'm guessing I will have to buy Gina myself monthly ..... if thats even possible.. ?? not sure how doctor can't prescribe it daily but I can buy it for daily use .... can anyone explain ?

My surgery fully supports my use of daily treatment of both Vagifem and Estriol cream and prescribe accordingly. There is a lot of misinformation concerning topical oestrogen, including the out of date instructions and medical information it contains. 

My advice to you is to read and quote the relevant information contained in the link below, it will give you all the information you need when discussing with medics, use it to your advantage.

thank you I will definitely try but I'm guessing the powers that be may have a line they wont cross

Print it out and hand the document to them if you continue to have resistance.
I find it disgraceful how women are forever having to put up a fight for the treatment they need, its not as if we are talking expensive medications here.

Anyway, good luck, you should not have to buy this privately.
