Hi Flo69

Thanks for replying.  I have sent you a message (thanks for replying to that).

So I've just taken my second tablet.  Had a bit of a meltdown last night after taking the first one because I got all stressed about not being post meno yet and worrying about why I shouldn't take it.  But I've put on my big girl pants today and have taken another one.  I'm going to give it a good go.  Can you remember how long it took for you to notice any positive changes?  Also do I take it continuously, so no break?  Do you think there's an optimal time to take it or just as long as it's the same time each day?

I don't have any risk factors for blood clots I don't think, I'm slim, don't drink or smoke, I exercise, eat well etc.

Thanks again x

The way I take it is one tablet every morning when I get up because it has an invigorating effect that I feel.  Or more accurate to say I feel if it's missing and then take it late.

We are all different but I noticed it was working gradually. It was more that I noticed I wasn't sweating in circumstances where I did before, noticed that I didn't feel any crazy rages coming on, noticed I had no side effects after my tummy got used to it.

After three or four months I noticed how completely normal I felt all the time.

That was exactly the result I was after.

I needn't say anything about the medical side because I wouldn't know, I'm not a medical person and I've bought "prescription onlys" on the internet as well, just be careful.

Hello ladies.

I thought I already posted on this subject but I can't find it.

I just wanted to say that in my area the GPs are aware of Tibolone and do prescribe it.
I know someone who had been taking it for years but was asked to stop when post meno, unfortunately I can't remember why. I also used it myself a few years ago.

I mention all this because it may be available so it is definitely worth asking a GP about it.

Take care ladies.
