Dizziness
« on: January 05, 2025, 08:55:03 PM »

Started Everol 50 and progesterone tablet at night around 6 weeks ago . I’ve started feeling very dizzy and light headed over the past month everyday and I’m now wondering if it’s the HRT causing it . Has anyone experienced this ?

Have you or anyone you know got a BP machine? You should check your blood pressure when feeling this way.

Progesterone can lower your blood pressure - this is frequently seen as beneficial however for individuals with lower blood pressure to begin with or who are particularly sensitive, it can be problematic.

I would try the estrogen on its own for two weeks. This isn't harmful and will help you establish if it was the progesterone or not.

If it is, there are multiple other options.

If not then you can scratch that off and consider other causes.

Oral estradiol can also provide a bit of blood pressure support whereas transdermal doesn't, so that might be something to look into as well.

Morning, I have been going through menopause symptoms for the last 10 years and have been trying one thing after another. I decided to come off it all as I thought that I was surely passed the sweats etc. Alas it was full on again within a couple of weeks. I retried Femeston low dose but had to double up very quickly and it took several weeks to calm my symptoms down.

I had to have my gall bladder out 4 weeks ago in an emergency operation so I continued with my Femeston. I am now experiencing terrible dizziness every day, including disrupted sleep and thought that it was my hormones that have been knocked side ways due to the operation. Does anyone know if I should be contacting my GP or will this settle eventually.

Are you under any stress? How are you eating?

I had been on progesterone for almost a month and suddenly had dizzy spills in the morning.

I was under a lot of stress and when I am stressed I don’t eat. Or drink enough water.

It settled after a few days, came sort of halfway thru the month not right away.
