Iceland the Country  ::).  That's how fish used to be sold in mainland Europe, 1 choose the trout it was removed, cooked and taken to the table.  Can't get fresher ;-)

We always do a lot of holidays * blushes * It's our 'thing' though, we don't have fancy cars or designer togs or anything...

So far this year-

Florida - a longer holiday doing two Caribbean cruises whilst there and the Keys in between

Florida again - this time in Disney (we love Disney, we go a lot, 'Disney Adults' are a thing - yes just two middlle aged adults going without kids!!  ;D We used to take the kids to Orlando a lot but they grew up  :D)

Spain - 2 times - house hunting, we are moving to Spain, hubby retiring early

Then on New Years Eve (so it still counts!  ;D) we are flying to Florida again for two more cruises round Caribbean then Mexico etc, a little 'Disney fix' in between.

Seriously, I wish we could go live there, on the Gulf Coast, but there are no visas for British to go retire there, so Spain it is but we will have a Florida themed pool area for sure!  :sunny:

Yes! St Pete's Beach is lovely!  As is Anna Maria Island and we LOVE Marco Island.
The white sugar sand on all those beaches is something I dream about, at times like this, sat here in Scotland with the rain tipping down...  ;D

Ah, you don't like flying CKLD?

I'm not keen. Its not a fear of the actual flight, it's (SOME) of the people onboard LOL.
We always book seats at the back so no-one can boot my seat for 9 hours straight but then you get someone reclining into your lap (I KNOW there's a big row everywhere about reclining so I won't start one )

Not so bad coming back on the red eye because people tend to sleep.

I always say never again but that lasts a week or two then I'm up for it again!!  :)

Oooh lovely!
We've cruised one time from Southampton, round the Med.
Would do it more for sure except we are in Scotland so it was a heck of a trek!

we've never done Scandinavia before, it's on our to-do list. We've done ooooh  15+  cruises since we started in 2017 and we have 3 more booked!

We LOVE cruising!

Which company are you cruising with? :)

I haven’t flown since 2005, that was only an hour to Bergerac but I hated every minute. Used to fly all the time in the 90’s but had a bad one so I’ll never step in a plane now. My daughter since becoming an adult has flown to Spain, Greece, Portugal, Germany,Egypt,Romania, she’s ok with it. My son has never flown he’s more averse to it. Trains are fine. I always worry when she’s flying. She’s going to Thailand in January eek. She’s going with her beloved but I’ll still worry the whole time they’re away. She’s now starting her Masters degree in music at the end of this month so it’s all going on. Hectic! Not sure about a cruise, not sure it’s for me.

DH thought that he would be bored on a Cruise  ::) and I would worry too much !  Flying - why would any1 want to be trapped in a Smartie Tube with 100s of other smelly, farty people  :o  :-X.  I can't do trains or coach trips either or we would have been to Lugano by now  :(  :-\

Gorgeos scenery certainly jaypo although I read it as "oldham"  ;D
