Hysteroscopy
« on: November 08, 2024, 11:56:48 AM »

As I've been having another heavy bleed, (off estrogen again but hanging onto utrogestan for now as it helps me sleep) I had an appointment on tuesday with my gynae, I ended up having a hysteroscopy that same afternoon and I just wanted to report although I had no GA, and I'm a complete wimp when it comes to pain of any kind, the team were absolutely brilliant.

I'm awaiting results of the biopsy, but I'm having to really rethink how I move forward with or without hrt x

Discogirl,  I'm sorry to hear you're going through all this again.  Didn't you go through all of this before? I remember because you really helped me when I was going through my scare and really appreciated your advice.
Hope everything comes back clear as I'm sure it will.  Xx

Hello discogirl.

I'm sorry that you are having more problems.

For some of us HRT doesn't live up to it's reputation and we are left to deal with unwanted consequences.

Well done for dealing with the hysteroscopy and I hope the results are good.

Wishing you well and take care.

Hello again discogirl

Please keep us updated on your results and thank you for asking about me.

I am still on one sachet of Sandrena and 100 mg of Utrogestan but I still have some meno problems unfortunately. I don't want to increase the oestrogen so I am just getting on with it for the time being.

I hope you get sorted soon, I know how frustrating and worrying all this can uncertainty can be.

Wishing you well and take care.
