Hi there.
I had my child 10 years ago after 2 rounds of highest dose IVF.
I’ve been post menopause for 6 years now and still can’t get an answer from industry professionals whether the heightened hormones from the IVF have left my body completely or whether there is a heightened risk if I took HRT. It’s why I have so far not tried any.

Who have you talked to about the possibilities?  MayB ask your GP for a referral to a dedicated menopause clinic, there are waiting lists for both private and NHS sectors. 

Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use to discuss at appts..

I also did 3 rounds of IVF 12 years ago.

Exogenous hormones have a half life of hours, not years, and will absolutely not still be in your body.

There is no conclusive link between IVF and any type of cancer, however it is biologically plausible for it to increase breast and ovarian risk slightly. If there was any significant signal though this would have become apparent by now as it has been around for many decades.

I have zero fear of taking exogenous hormones, and the doses within menopause hormone therapy are absolutely minuscule compared to what we pumped ourselves with to have our miracles.
