I always did my 3.5 pumps in the morning, after my shower as this suited my routine. When I was using utrogestan I found it stopped me getting to sleep, a bit like drinking coffee late in the day, so I started to take it mid evening. I eat around 6pm so I could take safely take it by 8.30 and found that this enabled me to fall asleep easily. An added bonus was that this stopped me snacking during the evening as I knew I had to have empty stomach!
I do find that disturbed sleep is one of the first signals from my body (along with itchy skin) that I need to up oestrogen. But we are all different!
