Were your ovaries removed at the time of hysterectomy or do you still have them?
If so, it could represent some endogenous ovarian activity.
If this is all coming from your patches I would maybe reduce by 50mcg and retest in another few weeks.
This is not an emergency, young women can go above 2000pmol/L at ovulation.
Women in their 40's can still achieve 1000pmol/L within a natural cycle.
Early pregnancy you can be up around 7000-8000pmol/L.
Long term it is desirable to remain below 1000pmol/L ideally below 800pmol/L on hormone therapy.

Thank you! Yes ovaries were removed at the time so it’s all from patches.
I was getting v worried about the levels so that is good to hear.
I will speak to
My Dr about it again.
Thanks

My Gynaecologist wouldn’t bat an eyelid at that level. He’d just say if you feel well, that’s all that matters.
Having recently switched to an estrogen pellet I’m beginning to realise that I will need considerably higher levels of estrogen from this method to be asymptomatic than I did when I was on the gel. I would imagine that my levels will need to be around 1000 pmols too.
The patches I needed to be around 700 pmols.
The gel I needed to be around 800 pmols
The pellet is looking like 1000 pmols.
One thing I’m pretty sure of is blood levels don’t give the whole story and cellular uptake can differ depending on the delivery method. Speaking for myself you understand.
I read a post on this site which suggested that the pellet was far more effective at lower doses. Not for me I’m afraid.
