Many thanks Angela that's interesting.  I have been settled on Tibolone for about 6 years, have absolutely loved it.  It gave me my life back.  So weird that the womb lining has thickened and I'm bleeding after no issues for so long. Adding the Slynd to the Tibolone initially did the trick but now back to square one
6 years is a long time. It’s so good that Tibolone works for you well, if you decide to change type of HRT there is no guarantee it will work for you the same way. We have a lady on here, she has like a period type bleeding every month on Tibolone and doctors don’t know why it happens. I understand you feel frustrated because you added more progesterone and still it can’t help you. What do doctors suggest about the causes of bleeding in your case?

LuLuRose, I'm not sure but it does seem that some women are just more prone to this kind of thing.

The Mirena coil is a set it and forget it kind of thing which - if you can get through the hurdle of having it fitted - is often a total solution.

Any idea why I'm bleeding on the oral progesterone, is it because the oestrogen (from tiblone) and progesterone levels are not balancing?
Tibolone is known by its tissue-selective activities, it means it doesn’t have effect on uterus and breasts. But some ladies do report that Tibolone causes bleedings for them. I don’t have any explanation why it happens. I am personally new to this type of HRT, just have started taking it a month ago, so have no personal experience or knowledge of my own.

"Tibolone is known by its tissue-selective activities, it means it doesn’t have effect on uterus and breasts."

Actually endometrial thickening is one of the significant side effects of Tibolone . Some years ago I read their product monograph where this was highlighted. I haven't checked the product info recently but it is likely also to say this.

It may well be that in your case LuLuRose, the lining has been building up for some time possibly?

Also do consult your doc about this, even though you had an investigation last time?

Mirena coil sounds like a plan provided you aren't affected by the progestogen - levonorgestrel.

Is one of the side effects, that is right, because Tibolone is not supposed to be active in the uterus, it is designed to work in bones, brain and vagina and this drug has a lot of other side effects too. Side effects are very common at the beginning of treatment, but when we are talking about 6 years of the treatment I am not sure if we can call it a side effect?
