Yes, Estradiol is the stronger one. I googled it   ::)

I've just looked at this but it's only a 15gm tube so £19.99 not that cheap as my estradiol tube is 80mg

I thought you were using Gynest - Estriol - 0.01% cream 80g. Didn't think there was an Estradiol cream in the UK.

I was confused here as I know Estradiol is the Vagifem pessary and Estriol is the cream and as far as I know Estradiol is not available as a cream in the UK.

The Americans & Canadians can get Estradiol in a cream it is called Estrace.

I wouldn’t mind trying it but you can’t get it here in UK.

If Estradiol is sold over the counter in those countries then it would be possible to buy from somewhere like Amazon, but at a price I imagine.
Its interesting here that Estriol cream is only available on prescription (apart from online pharmacies) and yet Vagifem (Gina) is sold over the counter, that's a bit puzzling!

I’ve never looked but not sure I’d trust Amazon.

But the Ovesse is now estriol cream sold over the counter. It was sat on a shelf next to Gina when I bought it the other day.

And that's all that matters, that it's available to buy at a reasonable cost if one ever needed to buy it as a back-up. How any retailer can have it on sale under its scientific name at £55 disgusts me.

I’ve bought Ovesse to try out & compare with my prescribed estriol really. It will be a while before I get to use it as I stick to order of expiry dates on my prescribed tubes !

£55 is for a 80g tube rather than cost of a 15g tube of different % estriol at approx £25.

I certainly wouldn’t buy it to try out or have as a spare @ £55 though. Agree with you there. :)
