Hi discogirl

I'm fine thanks! Long time since we chatted on here!

Yes I do remember now we discussed about the Cyclogest when you first thought about using it and I did express concern that it might not be sufficient because I thought more cyclogest was needed than utrogestan (in terms of grams of prog).

re increasing your progesterone dose - that sounds like a good plan to start with. Don't forget that after you have taken the 200 mg for a while you can always decrease again - though how long is guesswork. 6 mm is not thick at all (thoigh above the preferred limit) but if you're on conti then it may be likely to gradually get thicker over time until you get more bleeding, and as you say, you don't really want that.

All the best :)

Hi Hurdity

Yes I remember you mentioning that more cyclogest was needed.

I agree I think over time if I remain on 100mg utro that my endometrium will thicken over time and I'll end up with more bleeding.

Im not keen on increasing the utro but needs must. Its either that or the coil.

Take care and thanks for helping x

Hi Discogirl. Your lining measurement is the same as mine.  I bleed when mine is thick and thin! Last year I was told that the lining of my womb was 4mm and I was bleeding because it was too thin and atrophic. I was advised not to raise the Utrogestan as this would make the bleeding worse. I feel I’m always being given conflicting advice and I don’t know which advice is correct.

I will need to see my GP at some point to decide what to do…..but it seems that no one has the answer !

Keep smiling xx

Are you still on 4 pumps of gel Dotty xx
