Im very short and feel that i absorb estradot better when placed on fat. The problem is that I have only a small area on my belly where there is a layer of fat.  A perfect little circle around  the bellybutton  which I've hated but now feel will be of use😀So can patch be placed just above bellybutton once it's below  actual waistline? It'll make it alot easier to rotate and hopefully avoid fluctuations. Tried the bum but kept falling off

My waist is almost an inch above belly button but alot of what i read online says below bellybutton. Belly is only place it doesn't fall off for me unfortunately

Sometimes they specify a particular area because that's where they tested it. As long as it's nowhere near your breasts I don't think it matters for safety. For efficacy it has to be better where it will stick properly.

Warm skin absorbs better than cool skin.

Feel the temperature of your belly compared to your thighs.

Below the waist is advised in order to avoid the breasts, although there's no actual clinical evidence supporting this.

The skin also needs to be smooth and hairless.

I used the patches for IVF,  two patches at a time and used to rotate between lower abdomen and lower back.

They did not stick to me for more than half a day without a surgical adhesive dressing over the top.
