Oestrodose headache
« on: July 15, 2024, 09:02:17 PM »

Hi, I’ve used 3 pumps of oestrogel for three years with no issues but was given oestrodose which I took for a month. It gave me a constant headache and hot flushes so I switched back to oestrogel and my hot flushes stopped but the headache is still here. My blood pressure went up on oestrodose too.
Any suggestions to ease the headache please?

Morning.  Was your BP tested regularly?   How often are U using the product?

Headaches can be caused by the body being dehydrated.  Have U tried an OTC pain relief?

Hi, I’ve seen my gp and my bp was a bit high but nothing they were concerned about.
I’ve been given Naproxen to take for 14 days but after 4 days it’s not done anything yet.  :-\
It’s more pressure than headache, I feel like I need to keep popping my ears.

Also BP can be higher in the Surgery, 'white coat syndrome'.

What is Naproxiyn?

It’s just an anti-inflammatory but the Dr said to take it for two weeks.
I’m not convinced it’s not the oestrogel still causing the headaches  and ear pressure.  :-\

I'd try increasing another pump if I were you. Headaches and migraines can be caused by low estrogen - it's one of my symptoms.
